The ARA has achieved this amazing landmark
ARA are delighted to share this important updated news about the Blood Transfusion Service and Acupuncture.
As an update to our previous news report, we have now achieved approval with all of the health departments that govern blood transfusion and blood donation (BTS, JPAC, SaBTO and MHRA) and all four have agreed that due to the evidence provided by ARA that the waiting time should be abolished. This then went out to the health departments of each of the four nations and the result is they have no objections to moving forward with the removal of the four month delay for people who have had acupuncture.
We are now awaiting the removal of this procedure entirely, from local NHS trusts who are starting to roll this out.
