ARA have partnered with World Medicine Charitable Trust which is an acupuncture charity which aims to provide free acupuncture treatment to those suffering from trauma, disaster or poverty.

World Medicine – Acupuncture in Action –  offers humanitarian aid  where it is most needed, regardless of race, religion, politics or gender in order to strengthen and support local communities.

The journey began in 2005 when a team of 21 complementary therapists went out to help victims of the Asian Tsunami.

Today, we are more active than ever in offering practitioner experience, overseas and UK based programmes, recruiting volunteers, and raising funds for current and future projects. We raise fund for these and to support UK based acupuncturists to run their own projects through our grant scheme.
