Rebecca is a highly qualified acupuncturist with over 10 years of clinical experience. She feels privileged to be helping her local community with the health benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Qualifications: – Bachelor of Science Degree in Traditional Acupuncture – 3 years full time training – Member of the Acupuncture Fertility Network (a network of practitioners specialising in fertility) – Fertility, IVF, Pre and Post Natal Care by Jani White – Miscarriage and Menopause by Jill Glover – Working with Fertility and IVF by Caitlin Allen and Emma Richards – Treating PCOS and OHSS with Acupuncture by Naava Carmen – Teenage Mental Health by Rebecca Avern – Treating Mental Health Conditions with Acupuncture by Chris Nortley – Battlefield Acupuncture (ear acupuncture for pain relief) by John Howard – Chinese Scalp Acupuncture by Dr. Tianjun Wang – Food as Medicine – Nutrition Course by Monash University Rebecca has also been part of Touchstone’s Positive Care Programme providing acupuncture for people living with complex and difficult long term conditions including depression, bipolar, anxiety, stress, ME, MS, fibromyalgia and arthritis. Touchstone is a health and wellbeing charity with over 30 years experience of providing mental health services and tackling stigma and discrimination. It is committed to ending the stigma connected to mental health through collaborations, campaigning and as an employer of people with direct experience of mental health difficulties. Rebecca has also worked in conjunction with the James Cook Hospital based in Middlesbrough, working in the Trinity Holistic Centre supporting patients undergoing cancer treatment.
