Gerad Kite is an Acupuncture Master (Ac.M) with more than 30 years of clinical experience. He is a recognised leader in the field of fertility and reproductive health, an accomplished author, and an internationally respected practitioner and teacher of Five-Element Acupuncture.
In 1993, Gerad established the first NHS acupuncture service in the UK at King’s College Hospital, London, where he worked primarily with patients living with AIDS and those facing terminal illnesses. He later developed a highly successful private practice on Harley Street, earning a reputation as one of the UK’s leading fertility experts.
In 2006, he founded the Kite Clinic, building a team of practitioners and overseeing more than 10,000 treatments annually. In 2019, he established Yellow Path, a specialist school dedicated to training the next generation of Five-Element Acupuncturists. Through its graduate and professional development programmes, Yellow Path provides in-depth clinical training rooted in the traditions and principles of classical Five-Element Acupuncture.
Alongside this work, Gerad founded the Association of Five-Element Acupuncture (AFEA), a professional body created to support practitioners, promote excellence in practice and preserve the integrity of Five-Element Acupuncture for future generations.
Since 2011, Gerad has practised and taught from his clinic on Wimpole Street in London’s medical district. His first two books, Everything You Need You Have and The Art of Baby-Making, were published by Short Books in 2016. In 2025, his third book, The Untapped Self, was published, further exploring the profound relationship between emotional wellbeing, personal transformation and health.
Today, Gerad is widely regarded as one of the foremost teachers and practitioners of Five-Element Acupuncture, helping patients and students alike discover the untapped potential for healing and change that lies within each individual.
