My passion on wellness and understanding the functioning of our bodies has always been part of my journey. It was through my university years, my life took another direction when I first picked up a book on reflexology. Fascinated by the different pressure points on the hands and feet and how they associated with the rest of the body resulted in me undergoing courses alongside my Chemistry Degree. From 2000 onwards I studied Reflexology, Acupressure and then Acupuncture (TCM and Chinese Medicinal Herbs). I worked in Northampton, UK and qualified in a Post Graduate Diploma in Acupuncture in 2010 from The Open International University of Complimentary Medicine (OIUCM), founded by the late Professor Anton Jayasuriya in Sri Lanka. I am a member of the the Acupuncture Association which is regulated by the Acupuncture Regulatory Authority (ARA) and I hold an Acupuncture license to practice.
