Twenty six years working in the NHS in Mental Health as a HCA in Older Person and Adult Wards. I developed my career moving into Addiction as a Relapse Prevention worker completed Certificate in Adiction Counselling, following this studied at Leeds University obtaining a Diploma in adiction studies, I was then promoted to Team Leader and then Managing a Recovery Service for three years before moving into Shared Care delivering support for Addiction. Obtained an RCGP level 2, enabeling me to train GPs in addiction. During my career in adiction in 2000 I became a NADAUK practitioner delivering the five point Auricular Acupuncture, this developed to NADAGB where I became a Trainer & Assessor for NADAGB. Progressing my Auricular acupuncture to a Masterclass at The Yuan Medical Collage in London, soon followed by Facial Acupuncture. Korean Hand Therapy, Scalp Acupuncture & cupping therapy by Professer Jon Balk in Durham. I retired from the NHS in 2018 and set up my business Acu Auri, a Holistic Therapy clinic, delivering Micro Systems Acupuncture, Battlefield Acupuncture delivered by Total Therapies Group, Cupping Therapy and using my counseling skills. I am passionate about the skills I have learnt and now delivering, I have a five star rating on my google and Facebook page.
